Introduction to Linocut
2 Day Workshop at Lizzie Horne's Armidale studio Easter Sunday March 31, & Monday, April 1, 2024 10am-4pm.
Learn how to design, carve and print a simple linocut.
Suitable for beginners or more experienced printmakers looking for new techniques or a new project. We will look at the design process, think about textures and backgrounds, demonstrate carving techniques and the inking and printing process.
$295 includes all materials, but if you have special paper that you would like to print on, bring it along.
10am - 4pm both days
Tea, coffee and bickies available at all times, but bring your lunch!
Limited to 8 places. Adults only.
Minimum of 3 participants for course to run.
Details
Please wear closed-toed shoes for safety, and wear loose, comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting ink on.
Paid for your course and can't come?
A full refund may be possible if you advise of your cancellation for the entire course 14 days before it commences and your place is then filled. This may be taken as credit towards another course or direct refund. If your place remains empty, you may be charged a $20 handling fee and offered partial credit towards another course. If you have to cancel closer to the date, again, I will try to fill your place, and to move you to another course, but this may involve a $50 cancellation fee.
No refund is possible for cancellations on the day or missed sessions once classes begin, as these cannot be filled once the course has commenced.
