3 day aluminium etching workshop April 8-10

3 day Aluminum Etching workshop in Armidale.
April 8-10 Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 10am - 4pm
Aluminium etching with copper sulphate is all about creating beautiful tonal contrasts as well as line. No experience is necessary for this workshop as you will be guided all the way. Printmakers who have worked with acids and aquatints will especially appreciate the simplicity of this method. All the images you see here have been created this way.
No etching process is completely non-toxic, but etching aluminium with copper sulphate is a gentler alternative to acids. 
All tools and materials are provided, including aluminium plates, Charbonnel etching inks, tarlatan, and beautiful paper. Just bring your ideas and drawings, and your lunch!
If you have already tried aluminium etching, come along and take it to the next step.
Class size strictly limited to 4.
Adults only (except by prior arrangement with a parent or guardian also attending).
