Becoming the night

This etching had its beginnings in Judith Wright's poem The Precipice, but I found that poem too, too sad to illustrate, so chose instead to use it as a springboard to an exploration of the conflicting love and fear associated with motherhood. 1/15 sold, but further prints in the edition are available. There are minor differences between each print in this edition, so please talk to the artist before ordering online to be sure that you are happy with your choice.
